FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long does it take to learn a language?

This depends on the person and how many hours you want to study. In general if you take 1.5 hours twice a week and do your homework set by your teacher you will have a good vocabulary and be able to speak in everyday situations very soon.

Preparing for GCSE or A level?

As soon as your GCSE or A level starts you should begin to think about extra tuition. Our one-to-one tuition is very effective and gives a good back-up to your school work

Where do the lessons take place?

Lessons take place at your home address or at another mutually convenient place.

Do students need to buy a book?

This depends on the tutor. Usually the tutor will utilise different resources and you will be advised if it is necessary to purchase a book.

If I want to book a tutor how long does it take until my first lesson?

Usually the tutor will contact you on the same day you decide to go ahead. Then it is up to you, whenever you want to start.

If I want book a tutor do I have to pay any additional registration fees?

Yes, we charge a small registration fee.

How does Babble Language Training know that the suggested tutor is the right one for you?

We will find out your requirements through specific questions and then choose a suitable tutor. We will contact our tutor and he or she will then arrange to contact you directly to arrange a time and date which suits you. Then you will have a chance to discuss your exact needs again.

What is the best age for children to take up lessons?

This depends upon the child, but usually three is a good age to start.

Can I change tutor if I feel he or she does not meet my requirements?

It is very unlikely that a tutor will not meet your requirements, because every tutor is chosen very carefully. However, there is no problem with changing your tutor at any time.

Which areas do you cover?

We currently cover Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire, but are rapidly expanding in the South East of England.
