STUDENT EXCHANGE

Babble Language Training offers an exchange service for students in England and Germany. Students of all abilities and ages are welcome. Babble Language Training has successfully arranged many such exchange trips. On request, exchanges involving other countries can also be arranged. HOW IT WORKS

As soon as you make a request for an exchange, we will contact the exchange family in Germany that are approved by Babble Language Training, to inform them of the level and requirements of the student. If the exchange family are in agreement, we then pass the address to you. You may then contact the family directly or instruct Babble Language Training to make the arrangements on your behalf. Babble Language Training always endeavours to match students according to their ability, age-group and gender.

For students under 18, an escort service can be requested which is operated by the airline. This ensures that the child is supervised and looked after until collected by the host family. Further details can be obtained from the airline directly.

While staying with the host family the student will be invited to participate in the daily social activities of the family and will be able to benefit from learning in a natural environment. In this way the student can make maximum use of the target language during the stay.

All families in Germany are known and approved by Babble Language Training to ensure the security and safety of students.

ADVANTAGES OF AN EXCHANGE

Students, and in particular children, learn more easily once they are surrounded by the target language. Students are encouraged to try to speak the language, in a one-to-one realistic situation, and overcome their shyness quickly.  This situation can result in lasting friendships, which can continue for an extended period with letters, phone calls or even further visits. Exchange trips represent a very reasonably-priced and cost-effective route to noticeable improvement in any target language and are highly recommended for all students at all levels.
