WHAT DO WE DO IN THE GERMAN SPEAKERS CLUB?

In the German Speakers Club you will have the opportunity to read out your prepared essays about any topic in front of the group, which will improve your confidence in speaking the language. If you do not have the time to write anything there will be more opportunity to speak German. We also read and discuss books or the daily news and chat informally about interesting topics while we drink tea. Your German skills will improve and can be used for business situations and private occasions such as birthday and wedding speeches or just to communicate with your German friends. WILL THERE BE ANY TUTORING OR ADVICE DURING THE EVENING?

If wished essays and conversational mistakes can be corrected.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Joiners should have a minimum of two years German language experience.

Native German speakers who enjoy speaking German.

CERTIFICATES

If essays are written and read out Certificates will be issued after a 3-month membership. Those certificates could help you to find a new job, especially when working abroad or dealing with international customers.

WHEN DOES THE SPEAKERS CLUB TAKE PLACE?

We meet once in a month. Please call for more information.

Ham and Blackbird, 281 Farnborough Road, Farnborough GU14 7LZ, 2 minutes walk from the main train station and free off road car park.

COSTS?

Costs kept to a minimum of £4.00 per meeting (2 hours)
Concessions £3.50 per meeting
(age 60 and above, full time students, native German Speakers)
First session free of charge
